Thank you all for your prayers, release of faith, trust In the Lord, and for the desire to share the message on your heart at this year’s Jesus is Lord Tour concert being held in conjunction with Keene’s Pumpkin Festival on Saturday October 17, 2009 The Pumpkin Festival draws approximately 80,000 people into Keene for day of Halloween orientated festivities. We have been prompted to bring the Gospel message into an environment perhaps not expecting to hear the Word. We cannot do this alone on our own strength; we must rely and wait upon the Lord for His strength, His wisdom, His knowledge which he imparts unto each of us. May we continue to grow in His will. May we continue to humble ourselves before Him. We pray and plan for an inviting, compassionate format which invites passerby the opportunity to hear about Jesus Christ. We pray that we come to do more than perform, we come to share, to teach about Jesus. We pray that through our faith, our trust in the Lord and our obedience to come, that the Holy Spirit will break the binds of spiritual blindness and deafness in many people. May the breaking of the binds of spiritual blindness and deafness lead many to Godly sorrow, repentance and to Salvation through Jesus Christ. May we be in agreement to pray for more than just the concert, may we give thanks for the opening doors of public praise and worship in each other’s towns and the ministries stepping forth. May we release our faith and lift up these ministries in prayer for the abundant blessings of provision, protection and growth Now that we are “officially” underway the following is a checklist/housekeeping items relating to the venue. Location: The Center at Keene 149 Emerald St Keene, NH The Court yard is on the Gilbo Avenue side of the complex facing The TD Banknorth building.
Directions: For logistic ease, we are suggesting all musicians/volunteers take the West Street exit from Route 12. The venue is only 1.2 miles from the West Street exit.

1. Waiver/release form. The property owners require each band sign a waiver/release form. This form will be emailed to you. Please complete the form and mail it back to us by September 30, 2009
2. Stage/Tent area. There will be a 40’ x 20’ tent (40’ width) housing 2 – 20’ x 8’ stages and 2 20 x 10 equipment staging areas. Curtains will be utilized to separate the stage and equipment staging areas. The curtains will direct the viewer’s attention to the music ministry playing while minimizing and visual distractions associated with equipment load-in and load-out.
3. Check-in/ unload. Parking will be virtually non-existent during the day. There will be congestion and heavy foot traffic during part of the day. An information/sound tent will be at the entrance of The Center at Keene Court Yard.
4. Check in. Volunteers will help you unload vehicles. There is parking in the immediate areas. The property owner requests that all parties involved with the concert park off site.
Check-out/Load. After your set, please remove your equipment from the stage and pack up in the equipment staging area behind the stage. Contact us at the information/sound tent so we can coordinate volunteers to load your vehicle.
Hospitality Room
Once again the real estate developer is providing a vacant retail space for a prayer area, fellowship area, hospitality area and merchandising area. Food and beverages will be provided and maintained by volunteers.
Merchandising:
All bands are welcomed and encouraged to promote their respective CD’s and merchandise to bless those hungry for the Word through your ministry and as a way to offset your travel expenses to the concert. This is the third year at the Jesus is Lord has been blessed with this venue without charge. We are suggesting that 10% of your merchandise sales be forwarded to Carol or me as an offering to The Mayo Group, the property owner.
Sound system/stage layout
We are working on the sound system setup and will provide that information as soon as it is finialized. It is our expectation to have suffiencient basic equipment onhand to reduce the equipment needs for each band. Please provide us your channel needs and type (XLR, 1/4") and your tentative stage setup. Be blessed!

Jesus is Lord tour, is more than a concert tour. It is a proclamation of Jesus's Lordship over our lives, our families, our schools, our churches, our towns and cities, our country.
Jesus is Lord tour is an ongoing self sustaining revival movement organized by churches, coffeehouses and individuals such as yourself. There is no particular start and end date or geographical limits to the tour. |
